Out of my comfort zone.

For weeks I have been threatening to turn my hand to free machine embroidery, but have been too scared to set the machine up for fear of never getting it to work properly again! Today has been the day when I've braved it.
After watching a tutorial online to find out how to attach the open toe foot I managed to get mine to fit. I dropped the feed dogs and threaded the machine.
I made my first creation by fiddling with the tension and concentrating so hard I'm sure I'll need Botox to fill my frown lines!

It's a bit wonky, but I'm sure things will improve as I do more. 

For now, I'm a happy bunny.
